Yes, congratulations! Both are really well-deserved!

It's only fair to add that the 'virtues' part of my title refers to work by Dan Boisvert in particular, and that one of the main sections of the paper benefited substantially by prior airing here at PEA Soup. Congrats, Jamie - well-deserved.

It's pretty obvious what Mark's strategy is. He writes many first rate papers each year, thus dramatically increasing the probability that the Annual will really like one of them. This 'shotgun' approach strikes me as rather unsportsmanlike; nonetheless I offer hereby my reciprocal, if grudging, congratulations.

Plus Mark uses up so much room in so many journals each year that there is barely any competition.

Well done! Richly deserved by both of you.
